Hi guyssss!

I know its been a while, but I have just finished exams (woooooooo), meaning I will have a lot of free time on my hands (bc lack of friends and money)....SO, that means more posts!

I think I am kind of drifting away from just fashion blogging and maybe becoming more of a lifestyle/ beauty/ reviews/ food blog, but that's okay, I'm okay with that. Are you okay with that? Good.

I think I'm just going to jump right into this metaphorical pool of lifestyle and reviews and face oil with a review of the 'Naked Beauty Balm', the most recent product I have bought and feel the need to vent about.

So, I spent £9 on the (travel size) 'Urban Decay Naked Beauty Balm' after reading many positive reviews that it was a good BB cream, and as I've said before I have quite oily skin. The product details stated that it:

'minimises pores, lines, wrinkles and redness instantly' ...nope lol

'hydrates instantly and improves hydration over time' ...this it did do- made my skin look ever oilier than usual.

'primes so make-up goes on beautifully and stays put'... that makeup slid right off my oily ass face :)
'improve elasticity and provide measurable anti-ageing benefits'...what does this even mean??? How do you measure anti-ageing benefits???
It provided NO coverage for me and made my skin even more oily:(:(:(:( - (why u do this?) I was really shocked that it was so bad as it is an Urban Decay product, but I guess its just my difficult skin. (sigh). So, I would not recommend this product for those with oily skin, save your £9...or donate it to me, a poor girl who is now £9 down and drowning in face oil, ew. :(

Alas, I am still on the hunt for an effective BB cream for oily skin, that provides coverage, SPF, and just makes my skin look good au naturale, is that so hard to ask??????

If you have any good BB creams plssssssss comment/ email me, I am in desperate need of one.

P.S- do you think I should change my name to something more fitting of an everything blogger????  I feel like girl in the cowboy boots may be a bit dated,,,

After my last post on the benefit skincare that I am (still) obsessed with, I thought I would tell you about a few of my favourite products that I use.

Tangle Teezer-
An absolute life saver. If you have very curly, borderline afro hair like me, and you are not using one,I salute you.(seriously imagine me doing a little hunger games salute thing.) My tangle teaser is the only way that I am able to dislodge missing clips, shrubbery and other things long lost in the depths of my curls, and can I add  (relatively) painlessly. You need to buy this.

Witch Blemish Stick-
I'm prone to the occasional angry spot (sigh) and this product really works for me. Admittedly, the size of it makes it a bit hard to apply (if you are applying it like a lipgloss, but er, not to your lips) but other than that I love it. Cheap and cheerful. (like me...wait, that sounded wrong, can I take that back?)

Mac In Extreme dimension 3D back lash mascara-
If you, like me, have stubborn eyelashes that refuse to curl,(or do anything for that matter, other than orbit your eye for days causing it to swell up and cry at inappropriate times), then worry no more; this mascara is amazing. It makes my eyelashes not only look a lot thicker with very few coats, but makes them appear longer and curlier. (in a good way, not like curly eyelashes, that would be weird.) It didn't clump or flake off in little bits around my eye. However, it is a bit more than I would usually spend on mascara, £19 (that's like 5 meals at McDonalds) but I think it is worth it.

Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara (L'oreal)-
Another great mascara, for eyelashes like mine. Instead of making them appear thicker, this mascara is great for defining lashes and making them appear longer. What's even better is the affordable price of £8.99 (yay more money for food).

Benefit Magic Ink Jet Black Liquid Eyeliner-
Again, one of the more expensive products, but I have tried loads of different brands of liquid eyeliner (you remember that stage of wearing, what you thought was equal, winged eyeliner everyday, right?) and this is probably the best. At £15.50 it does as expected, and more; easy application, no clumps or suspicious lumps, it is easy to remove and has a very thin brush, thing.

A few other essentials I love:
Carmex (only £2 at Primark!)
Soap and Glory Hand Food
Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer

I have also recently ordered a new skincare product for myself to try, Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Overnight Treatment, and I will keep you up to date with how it does.

Hope these little beauty/skincare things I'm doing are useful!

Today, dear readers, I simply must tell you about a product that I have been using and I am in love with...(drum roll please).....
..........And here it is: Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion -£23.50

I absolutely love it! (Can you tell?) Not only does it remove makeup and dirt from my face that face wipes miss,(surprisingly face wipes miss a lot of dirt...or is it just my face that is extra dirty?! I'm going to blame the face wipes. Damn face wipes.) but it leaves my face feeling clean and fresh AND it smells divine.

I don't normally like to spend THAT much on skincare products (more money for food you see, priorities.) but that £23.50 isn't looking so bad now that the withdrawal symptoms have started. (I only had a poxy 8.9ml bottle as it was part of a set.)

I also love the Triple Performing Moisturizer (or whatever it's called), as a daily, light, moisturizer that leaves my very sensitive yet oily YET dry skin feeling softer than a baby's butt, whilst again, smelling delicious. ( I can't quite put my finger on what the scent is but its gooooooood). - £19.50   I cannot compliment these products enough, just take it from me, they are amazing. I have combination skin type, oily throughout the day, dry in the winter and normal in the summer, yay, and so far, the moisturizer has been great for my fickle skin. I would definitely recommend these to a friend (to buy for me).

Did I mention they smell amazing?

Well this is strange; writing to all of you after us not speaking in so long (sorry 'bout that). It feels weird but I like it...Love me again? (By the way, watch out, a whole lot of rhetorical questions are coming up ahead, brace yourselves.)

Also,I don't understand how but I've still managed to get over 1,000 views since I last wrote to y'all,um, thanks...(why are you still checking here???Don't you have lives??? Jobs??) Thank-you, heart you all xxx

Okay, Miss nice princess façade over....................

I don't think it's very fair that I sit here in my pj's ranting about what I do and don't like about fashion when I literally wear leggings everyday to school...who can be bothered to look good at school? I bow down to all of you well dressed people at school.(I know I made that post about how I love people who make an effort for school, but that was when I was young and naive.)

Anyway, my rant for today is about the awkward stage between September and Autumn,is it too warm for jumpers yet? Is it acceptable for me to wear leggings everyday?(for me the answer is yes,for you, not so much.) And the most frequently asked question; what do I wear in September?????
I'm not going to pretend I have the answer to those (leggings remember?) but instead I'm just going to vent my anger towards September to you. It is literally the worst month out there. School, awkward changing weather, school, what season even is it??? Too hot for jumpers and leggings and boots (which is all I want right now) too cold for bare legs...(also too poor for new clothes).

*sigh* how am I supposed to be fabulous if I can't afford clothes:(:(:( ...(I could stop buying food.........................lol we both know thats not going to happen))))))

So dear viewers, what I'm trying to say is that instead of taking fashion advice from me(a slob with no clothes) go out into the world and buy yourself some leggings...

I can't wait for colder weather, so many snuggly jumpers and boots gfhjslkzsdjerf I am excited.

If you need fashion tips and advice (because I am absolutely no help this month, feeling very uninspired and tres bleugh) I've discovered this fabulous FREE (yaaaas) app that gives you different outfit choices and helps you find your perfect outfits. Its also soooo helpful as it shows you when the price drops (you know I love dat) so yes I definitely recommend this app. It's called Mallzee - http://app.adjust.io/umerqp

I'll write to you again when I'm feeling more inspired.
Stay fabulous!

GUESS WHO'S BACK? (if anyone says anything even remotely relating to slim shady I will attack you.)

Mwhahah tis I, Princess Nadia, returning to her kingdom to restore peace and justice.

How art thee all? Staying fabulous I hope.

Okay, so now for the real reason I'm here. I have a confession to make to y'all. (yep I said y'all, I'm trying to bring back some of the old Miley to show kids that not all good things die.) Okay, the other day, I kinda almOST NEARLY turned basic. (emphasis on the almOST NEARLY.)

Before I go into anymore detail, why don't you watch this and pretend its me.

'But how could this happen to such a unique and wonderful person like yourself?' I hear you cry, well dear viewers, the frightening thing about this is that it can happen to any of us. You are all at risk. So in this post, with the wisdom of my knowledge and my experience I will give you 5 steps on 'How not to be basic'.

You're very welcome.

1) Don't live up to the stereotype.
White girls: buy coffee from somewhere else one time.
or don't instagram a picture of your starbucks.
or take a friend of a different race with you.
Other girls: Go to Starbucks, its great.

2)Avoid leggings 4/7 days a week.
I know they are the most comfortable item of clothing ever to grace the Earth, but you gotta change it up a bit sometimes.

3)Don't become an expert in the majestic art of the Twerk.
I'm not even sorry about this one, lets just pretend twerking never happened, please.

4)Gym selfies.
No-one wants to see your amazingly flat stomach, or your perfectly rounded bum or your toned legs, especially not when you're wearing a neon coloured crop top and your brightly coloured nike trainers. ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY not when we are looking at this picture on instagram as we are digging into something sugary and full of happiness.

5)If you've seen more than 5 strangers with it...
don't do it!!!!!!!! Things to stay away from:
longchamp bags
uggs
drake
hollister tracksuit bottoms
brunch

So there you have it, follow each of the above and help us to immunise the world against becoming Basic.

(here's a few quizzes to test if you're basic click here or here )

My dear squishys of the internet,

You will have to forgive me for not writing for so long! (I'm sorry, do you still love me?) I just have so much going on at the moment, with a-levels *twitches* and errrythang.

I will continue to write(rant) as much as I can, fear not, BUT it won't be as often as it was. So, as I am a lovely, thoughtful person (you said it, not me) I'm going to leave a little space in that column thing on the side, so that you can type in your email address(I won't spam you with lol cats, promise) and it will email you every-time I put up a new post.
Am I thoughtful or what?

Love you all.
Stay fabulous xo

Here's a picture of a happy owl, if that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will.

Hello again my dear readers,

You know, before I sat down to write this post, I thought to myself, 'should I workout?'.
I really should workout.
I really should workout.
I really should.................bacon??????????

So, instead of working out, I'm sitting here with my strawberry yoghurt (low fat don't ya know). But all is not lost dear readers, all is not lost. I have a lot to talk about today, don't you worry.

So, I was playing with my little cousin the other day and she had the cutest little mannequins, about the size of a barbie doll, and they come with loads of different materials. Basically, all you do is make little dresses and outfits out of these materials and belts and jewels and stickers and it was amazing.
Not going to lie to you, I was in my element.

I totally recommend these for any budding designers who don't have space for a full size mannequin! They're called Harumika dolls and here's the link to them on Amazon. (don't be fooled, your designs won't look as good as the picture's unless you're Alexander Wang or something...or just better than me...) I think they're such a good idea and I loved 'working' with them (I was playing with them with my 10 year old cousin.) and am pretty jealous that my mum gave them to her... hello???Where was mine??

Okay,moving swiftly on......................
